Kimberly offers individualized instruction to meet your child’s educational needs. She is a Reading Specialist in Houston and Cy-Fair. She specializes in reading, writing, and math for elementary aged students.
Kimberly can provide dyslexia therapy during the school day if the child’s school allows.

Do you need support or new ideas to help your child academically? Kimberly meets with parents to share strategies for homework routines, nightly reading, and ways to practice basic math facts.
DYSLEXIA TUTORING
Diagnostic and Prescriptive
Kimberly provides explicit and systematic instruction of an Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory based curriculum to teach children with dyslexia or other reading disabilities. Instruction is based on the individual student’s strengths and struggles. Tutoring sessions are three days a week for 60 minutes each. Additionally, Kimberly can usually attend 504 meetings with parents of students with dyslexia.
MATH TUTORING
From Concrete to Abstract
Proficiency in math begins by practicing with hands-on manipulation of concepts. From there, Kimberly guides students to solve math problems mentally and on paper. She incorporates rewarding math games to solidify concepts and memorize facts. Math skills taught in early elementary school build the foundation to succeed in math throughout a student’s educational career.
